Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Teacher (LP): Candidates should possess Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and 2-year D.Ed or 4 years B.Ed. or 2-Year Diploma in Education and Passed in Assam TET/ CTET.
- Asst Teacher (UP): Graduation with 2 Year D.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. and Passed Assam TET/ CTET.
- Science Teacher (UP): B. Sc. having Science as one of the subjects with 2 Year D.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. and Passed Assam TET/ CTET.

- Assistant Teacher of LP Schools: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances.
- Assistant Teacher and Science Teacher of UP Schools: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs.70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances.
